We deeply value sustainability.
Sustainability is foundational to our business. We are always searching for more sustainable options in terms of how we manufacture, where our materials come from, and how we can support efforts to protect the environment. We take great care to minimize our negative impact and grow our positive impact through the below efforts.
Made to Order
We cast pieces individually and do not mass produce so that we are not wastful of materials or creating dead stock.
Recycling Gold
Our standard pieces are made with partially recycled scrap gold. We encourage you to recycle your gold to give it a new life.
Mindful Packaging
All packaging is plastic-free and is made in a circular system of recyclable, compostable, and post-consumer materials.
Carbon Offsets
All shipping is certified carbon neutral, and the carbon offsets we pay go to removing carbon from the soil, air, and sea.
We support Fairmined.
Fairmined is the gold standard for ethics in gold. Mines that are licensed Fairmined adhere to strict standards for workers' rights, environmental protections, community improvement, and traceability. These efforts have a direct impact on improving the global gold supply chain.
You always have the choice to Make It Fairmined when you purchase from us. And now as one of the first brands supporting Fairmined Credits, each standard piece you buy from us will still support small artisanal Fairmined gold mines.
We plant native trees & plants.
To support reforestation efforts, we plant one tree for every $100 you spend. With the help of businesses like ours, One Tree Planted has planted over 100M trees in over 80 countries.
We are also deeply committed to learning about and repopulating the land with native plants in our garden in North East Los Angeles. We've taken a barren, dead hill and populated it with many plants that support the local ecosystem.
Now weekly we see hawks, hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and songbirds of all kinds. Each package shipped in the USA contains a little clipping from our abundant garden.
We support organizations working toward a better world for all.
We are committed to being part of the change we wish to see in the world, to helping others, and to helping ourselves grow in the process. This is why giving back is a cornerstone of our business.
We commit a minimum of at least 1% of our annual revenue to the below social impact organizations.
